Stephen A Sprinkle

Stephen A. Sprinkle, 58, of Walton, passed away at 12:39 a.m. at his home.  He was born October 28, 1960 in Logansport to Joseph L. and Linda L. (Wikle) Sprinkle.  On June 24, 1989 he married Rhonda Cates and she survives.

Steve worked for Co-Tronics, Inc. in Peru for several years as well as Wedges Liquor Store in Logansport. He was a member of the Walton Masonic Lodge and the American Legion Post #60 in Logansport.   He enjoyed Golf and watching the History Channel.   Steve served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Surviving family include his wife, Rhonda Sprinkle, Walton; children, Joshua Sprinkle, Shannon Sprinkle, Donna Lugabihl and Nicole Walker.  Surviving grandsons, Jachob and Alex and surviving brother, Jim Sprinkle. Surviving nephew, Joey Kilgore and surviving niece, Alicia Reynolds.  Steve is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and sister Melinda.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 30th  at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Kelly Spencer officiating. Masonic Rites will be held at 2:30 p.m.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Legion in Steve’s honor. Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
