Gerald L. Busch Sr.

Gerald L. Busch Sr., 79, of Kokomo, passed away Thursday, January 16th at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born January 7, 1941 in Logansport to Henry J. and Helen C. (Ulrich) Busch.  He married Saundra S. Hancock. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2006.

Jerry worked for Chrysler Transmission for over 30 years, retiring in 1998.   He was a member of UAW Local #1166, the Logansport Elks Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing.  He also loved his sons and spending time with them.

Surviving family include his three sons, Gerald L. (Valerie Buster) Busch Jr., Kokomo; Mark H. (Gina Rayn) Busch, Kokomo; and David P. Busch, Kokomo; one grandson, Keith Busch of Kempton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.   Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jim and John Busch and his wife Saundra.

Visitation will be held from 10 – 2 p.m. Thursday, January 23rd  at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.   Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. immediately following visitation on Thursday, January 23rd at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Enochs officiating.  Burial will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
