Molly Sue Hibler, 73, of Kokomo, passed away at 2:52 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born March 25, 1948, in Kokomo. She was lovingly adopted by her parents William W. and Marie (Eades) Wikel. She married Ronnie Hibler on April 3, 1971, and he survives.
Molly retired from Community Howard Regional Hospital in Medical Records. She was an avid gardener, she loved tending to her yard and flowers. She was a voracious reader that always had a new stack of books to read. She co-authored a cookbook and loved to cook for her family, friends, and church. She also enjoyed sewing and antiquing.
Surviving family include her husband Ronnie Hibler of Kokomo; her son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and wife Anne Colleen Hibler of Kokomo and daughter Emily Hibler and partner, Chris Jones of Carmel. She is also survived by two grandchildren, grandson Alek Hibler and girlfriend Sydney Stoerger and granddaughter, Abigail Hibler. She also leaves many dear friends both in Kokomo and on the east coast who were like sisters to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring for family and friends to enjoy her flower garden. Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to SouthernCare Hospice of Kokomo or the adoption charity of your choice.
