Wendy Trusty Obituary

 

Wendy Ann Trusty, 46, of Galveston, passed away early Thursday, November 25, 2021, at her home in Galveston.  She was born February 3, 1975, in Kokomo to Frederick “Rick” Henseleit II and Linda (Gwinn) Mills.   She married Wayne Trusty on November 12, 2020, in Galveston and he survives.  She was a graduate of Lewis Cass High School.

 

Wendy was a wonderful wife and mother; her children were her life.  Family meant everything to her.

 

She is survived by her husband Wayne Trusty of Galveston; her daughters, Kara Acord of West Lafayette; Alexzia Acord, Cutler; and Lillie Acord of Cutler.  Surviving stepsons include, Robbie Trusty, Raymond Trusty and Roland Trusty all of Galveston; her mother and step father, Linda and James Mills of Inverness, FL; her uncle Pierce and wife Rhonda Henseleit of Kokomo; step brothers, David and wife Holly Mills of Converse, IN and Chad E. and wife Kristy Mills of Bloomington, IN; and her beloved dog Kush.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Galveston Cemetery with Pastor Steve Sherwood officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston prior to services at the cemetery.  You may share a memory or light a candle in Wendy’s memory at www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
